A bouquet of USB cables.

The USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF), the regulating human anatomy on things USB, is rolling down a fresh group of tips that’ll simplify the branding of USB cables. What this means is brand new logos and, more to the point, easier-to-understand naming conventions for USB services and products.

According up to a report on The Verge (starts in brand new tab), we have to start to see less confusing branding on USB cables and services and products soon. What this means is we are able to finally leave behind nonsensical USB cable kinds like “SuperSpeed Certified USB” and “USB4 Gen3x2” and only one thing only a little simpler to realize.
